Agroforestry

What is an Agroforestry?

Our continuous search for new solutions to conventional production systems has led us to recognize the viability and productivity of the cultivation methods proposed by regenerative agriculture.

Among these methods are Agroforestry Systems (SAFs), an old and internationally recognized approach. This system integrates agricultural and forestry production, drawing inspiration from the structure and dynamics of natural ecosystems. By combining native and exotic forest species with productive species, we aim to rehabilitate degraded areas and optimize the use of cultivable space.

SAFs are governed by principles such as vertical stratification and natural species succession. They promote effective water management, carbon sequestration, nutrient recycling and natural control of diseases and pests – our great allies and teachers.
